Overview

Salary: £475 - £530 per day

As Civil QC Inspector, you will report to the Quality Control manager. You will be part of the Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will execute the specific inspections on material, equipment, steel structures, construction/installation activities, and HVAC on site, in accordance with the QC Plan.

Job Details

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

Follow relevant specified procedures, issue the relevant Quality Records and write non-conformances reports for the Quality Control Supervisor
Verify the correct preparation of foundations and reinforcements
Monitor atmospheric conditions during pouring operations and correct curing operations
Check the certifications regarding element mixes, chemical analysis, grain size analysis, sampling operations
Review the laboratory examination results, sub-grade dry density, moisture content, compression strength test, execution of casting, concrete pouring, materials quality (wire, fitting, etc.)
Collect and manage documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents
Ensure that all civil works and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier
In case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved QC/ Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records
Ensure the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation

Qualifications

Education: Degree in civil engineering
Technical skills: Quality Control inspection
IT skills: MS365

Experience

4 years as Civil QC Inspector or equivalent and 7 years in QC activities
Experience in Oil & Gas or Energy sectors
Site / Field project experience
