Overview

As a Buyer, you will report to the Site manager on a daily basis. You will be part of the Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will be the focal point for all the buying activities of the project onsite (direct & indirect, goods & services).

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage in autonomy the Purchase Requisitions received from the section lead for any goods and services
• Review the PR to ensure they are complete and consistent with the budget and technical needs of the project
• Prepare a tender strategy with proper documents to explain our procurement process to vendors with the relevant timelines and qualification information
• Liaise with bidders, inspectors, vendors and the Kingston office on a daily basis to ensure all the parties understood the needs and requests
• Support the vendors during the preparation of the technical/commercial proposals with obligation of confidentiality
• Compare different proposals from vendors and suggest actions to be taken in order to improve project results

Experience

• Proven experience as a Buyer or equivalent for both goods and services
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Energy industries
• Site / Field project experience
• Goods and services purchasing strategy
• IT Skills - SAP / MS365
