Overview

Axi Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Bookings / Customer Services Co-ordinator to join a leading shipping and freight forwarding company.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to take ownership of a busy bookings and customer service function, leading day-to-day activity while remaining hands-on with customers.

Job Details

• Take day to day lead of our Bookings/Customer Service Team
• Customer services – be the contact point for our customers bookings and help them with any information that they require
• Take bookings and create in our internal software
• Liaise with transport and export planners

Experience

• 4-5 years previous experience in a Logistics/Freight environment
• A confident and approachable person
• A high level of organisation and attention to detail
• Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
• Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
• A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
• IT literate
• A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
