Overview
Axi Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established retail and e-commerce brand for a Digital Marketing Manager, driving PPC-led growth and evolving customer acquisition and retention strategies for the next phase of the business. The role focuses on PPC and Paid Search, alongside the management of Affiliate and Display channels. Working closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll take hands-on ownership of delivering the in-house digital marketing strategy in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
Job Details
- Own and optimise PPC activity across Google and Bing, covering all key campaign types.
- Support the growth of the Affiliates channel, including publisher management, budgets, tracking and creative alignment.
- Assist with managing Display activity, overseeing budgets, creative optimisation and testing.
- Work with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager on cross-channel planning, investment, testing and creative strategy
- Manage and optimise multi-million-pound paid media budgets to deliver revenue and efficiency targets.
- Lead ongoing testing and optimisation across creatives, audiences, formats and bidding.
- Support wider paid media activity and provide backup for Paid Social when needed.
- Deliver clear, regular performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Drive full-funnel growth, supporting brand, mid-funnel and performance objectives.
- Optimise product feeds and key attributes for paid media channels.
- Support marketing tech and measurement, including GTM setup, tracking and attribution.
- Work with data teams to use internal insights for decision-making.
- Optimise towards commercial outcomes such as revenue quality and customer value.
- Use automation and AI-led ad platforms effectively, applying critical judgement to recommendations.
- Understand how creative quality and first-party data impact performance and test assets accordingly.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising and Customer Data teams to align activity with business goals.
- Stay updated on paid media best practice and platform developments.
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience managing PPC across Google and Bing, including shopping campaigns, product feed optimisation, and Google Merchant Center managemen
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong understanding of attribution and measuring true impact across paid media.
- Useful (but not essential): experience supporting Affiliate and Display channels
