Overview

Axi Recruitment are currently recruiting for our client who are a construction company for a Financial Controller. The role oversees financial control, reporting, and governance, ensuring strong financial management, full compliance, and high-quality financial insight.

Job Details

• Oversee regional financial control in line with policies.
• Maintain strong internal controls and balance sheet integrity.
• Support risk management and internal audit activities.
• Lead monthly management accounts and reporting to Finance.
• Manage statutory reporting and audit processes.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Provide performance insight and variance analysis.
• Lead and develop the regional finance team.
• Ensure effective use of systems.
• Support finance transformation and reporting improvements.

Qualifications

Fully qualified (essential)

Experience

• Finance leadership experience (essential)
• Strong knowledge of UK statutory reporting and group controls (essential)
• Construction industry experience (desirable)
