Overview

Axi are recruiting on behalf of a client for a highly motivated and technically skilled Heat Pump Sales Engineer.

As a Heat Pump Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing technical expertise to commercial and industrial clients who are interested in decarbonizing their heating systems. Our business specializes in delivering high-quality, high-efficiency solutions using natural refrigerants exclusively. This is a self-driven sales role that requires exceptional teamwork and a strong technical background, experience in the refrigeration or allied industry would be favourable.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with commercial and industrial clients who are interested in transitioning to heat pump systems to reduce their carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and requirements for decarbonizing their heating systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on the benefits and suitability of our high-quality, high-efficiency heat pump solutions.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations to determine the feasibility and design requirements for heat pump installations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, design, and project management, to develop comprehensive and customized heat pump solutions for clients.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition and competitive advantages of our heat pump solutions.
  • Respond to client inquiries, provide accurate and timely technical information, and address any concerns or objections that may arise during the sales process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in heat pump technology, and effectively communicate these developments to clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, case studies, and technical documentation to support sales efforts.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in technical sales.
  • Familiarity with commercial and industrial heating systems and their associated components.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, coordinating efforts with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address client needs and overcome objections.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
